Why Seeking The Kingdom Of God First Is The Foundation For Your Life

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” — Matthew 6:33, NLT

When I first became a Christian, I didn’t quite understand what this meant. I had come across this verse in the Bible and it seemed like a good one. But, I wasn’t experienced enough to know how it applied to my life.

Several times I had seen the verse referenced to how you schedule your day. It also would be used to encourage people to set time aside for morning quiet times. However, these uses of the verse seemed good, but lacking.

As I have come back to it time and time again, there was something that recently stuck out. Over the last four or five years, I have found this verse referring me not only to my schedule but my entire life.

The three components of this verse are essential to understand if we want to create a foundation of our Transformed Faith.
