What We Can Learn About Healing Prayer
The power of prayer can be quite miraculous
I used to believe that persons who claimed to have been healed by prayer were lying. And because I am a Christian, there is Biblical evidence that it can be done. To be honest, I was a skeptic at first.
Nonetheless, God has often demonstrated to me that He heals people.
One summer, I went on a mission trip. One of my classmates informed the rest of the group that her aunt had just received her MRI findings for possible brain tumors. She had four of them, two of which were non-operational.
She only had a few months to live.
Our team member reported her aunt is pleading with as many people as possible to pray for the tumors to vanish. She thought that God had the power to entirely eliminate them.
As a result, while on a mission trip, we took a 24-hour vacation from our responsibilities to pray for this person’s aunt. Even though we were thousands of miles apart, we took turns praying healing words over her.
Our team’s girl followed up with her aunt after our 24-hour prayer session. She was unable to contact her. She made an attempt at her mother. Nothing. She became concerned after a while, and two days later she received a call from her mother.
