We are all on a financial journey.

Som of us realize it. Others are completely oblivious. I recently realized that we have been lied to about money.

We are past the time when going to college, getting a job, and staying with the same company until we retire at 65. This isn’t the way things work anymore.

College is expensive as hell. And many people are digging a deep hole of debt with their student loans.

Some of those people don’t even use their degrees. So, maybe we don’t need to go to college anymore.

Then there is the entire thing about working for a company. More and more people are going from job to job and never really settling down.

With so many people quitting their company jobs to strike out on their own, the days of the company are over.

If those things are over, now what?

This was the question I asked myself when everything changed for me.

As a father of three, a husband, and currently and employee for one of the major insurance companies, I knew it as time to make a change.
