I’ve written a lot of posts this year across a lot of platforms.

It’s almost inevitable if you are writing consistently. However, looking back, I had two main places that I created content.

Medium and Self-Publishing

Of course this year, I have published a lot right here on Medium. I’ve had some ups and downs along the way.

But one thing that has hit well over the year were posts about self-publishing books.

This doesn’t surprise me by any means. Most writers want to write a book. It makes sense that writers on this platform would check out these articles.

Going into 2023, I plan on writing more about my self-publishing journey as well as the lessons I learn along the way. So, stay tuned.

J.R. Heimbigner Writes on Substack

There was a movement of Medium writers going over to Substack in the middle of the year. So, I thought I would give the platform a chance.

Since then, I have grown to 200+ subscribers and have found a nice little spot sharing my lessons on writing and self-publishing.
