The Unexpected Results of One-Minute Stories
It’s worth a try
I was skeptical to join a publication with stories that take a minute to read.
After all, if we get paid on reading time, I probably won’t make a penny if ten people skim, I mean read, my story.
Yet, I thought I would give it a try.
The Result?
A significant influx in views and reads.
In fact, I had been dipping down to the 10k view range right before starting to write these little Medium sound bytes. Now, I’m climbing my way back up to the 15k range in a matter of weeks.
How could this be?
It’s easy to read a 1-minute story. Especially if you space them out as I do. Also, I think it’s helping because I space them out among my longer stories and the new Medium app makes this work in my favor.
