Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” — Mark 12: 30–31

Christianity can sometimes feel very confusing to the Christian as well as the unbeliever. After all, we have all these different denominations and people have many different convictions in their faith.

It's understandable to think that Christians are messed up too. After all, we like to argue about the difference within our faith. Whether it is theological or how we relate to social issues.

I remember talking to a friends once about Christianity and he was very hung up about how his mother’s faith was so different from mine for example.

His mother was overly controlling and saw the Bible as a literal rule book for life. Where I have seen it as a place to view life through a different lens. This friend brought a dozen or so differences in my faith from his mom’s faith and said there is no way to reconcile the differences.

I remember thinking this is true. Within the Christian faith, we have differing theologies and viewpoints on certain topics. It’s…
