The first time I heard of this book, I was in college. I didn’t know anything about C.S. Lewis or The Chronicles of Narnia prior to that time in my life.

However, when I first started reading some of C.S. Lewis’s other works, I stumbled across these wonderful stories which I have come to love. In fact, I love them so much, my wife and I are reading them to our daughters.

Here is what I love about this book:

  • This story is short, fun, and encouraging.
  • There are definite themes about humanity with this story.

Here is what I don’t like:

  • It is in proper English, great to listen to hard for this American to read.

Final Verdict:

Worth reading again and again.

Please Note

CS Lewis was a Christian and his stories follow Christian themes. Some might find this offensive. Nevertheless, I do think the stories are absolutely wonderful.

Which is your favorite in the Chronicles of Narnia Series?
