Who are you? When the door is closed to your bedroom and you are alone, who are you? Have you ever asked yourself this? Sometimes, we can easily spend so much time creating a personality or a role for work or our social life we can easily forget to simply be our honest self.

Recently, I have been reading, The Simple Faith of Mister Rogers by Amy Hollingsworth. It is a simple book, about our American icon Mr. Rogers from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Growing up, I remember watching the show once in a while, typically when nothing else was on TV.

And looking back, I don’t remember any special impact other than the episode that showed us how crayons were made. For some reason, that episode has stuck with me.

Yet, while reading the stories of Mr. Rogers, I came across a chapter called: The Best Gift: Your Honest Self. And in this chapter, we learn more about how Fred Rogers simply shared who he was on television.

And this got me thinking deeply about who I really am, and if I share this with others.

Who Am I?
