Because we all ask God where he is when things are bad
Now and again, I find myself asking the question, where is God when __________? You can insert the blank with any topics from the world and local news to something happening in your life.
I find that I selfishly insert the blank with personal problems far more than the problems we face in the world today. Nevertheless, it is a reoccurring thing that I do.
At the time of writing this, I was reflecting on something personal. My question has been troubling me for a few weeks now. And while I struggled away with it, I finally decided to voice it out loud.
Where is God when my day job goes crazy, and I want to throw my hands in the air and quit?
While I sat at my desk, I thought I might have heard the answer to the question. So, I asked it out loud again. Once more, I could feel the tug at the solution for me and anyone asking such a question.
