Curation always felt snooty to me.

Yep, that’s right, I said it.

I’m not going to lie, it boosted my confidence and ego when a story was curated. It always felt like my story was put into a fine art gallery. That it was better because it was curated.

I felt that way until…

No one showed up to check it out.

A story would be curated only to have crickets show up. Or the haters. They liked stories that weren’t getting a lot of attention. Never the less it was always disappointing if curation didn’t impact my views, reads, and fans.

Curation is OUT and distribution is IN

Well, distribution has always been there, but now it's front and center. Our stories aren’t going into a glass case to be looked at once in a while. Now, they are being shipped to the masses.

Or at least that’s what it sounds like anyway.

What do you think? How do you feel about DISTRIBUTION over CURATION?
