Regarding the the old articles, I leave them up. By the time they are in the book, those posts and the book chapters look pretty different.

So, they still get people to my email list which then points them to my books.

Regarding your article, I might pull it and then break it into smaller posts (500 to 1000 words) and then point people to your book. Or you could leave it and still break it up.

How old is the article? If its more than a six months, you will probably be just fine to post some smaller segments and push it to the book.
