Stop Making Excuses and Start Changing Your Habits to Achieve Your Dreams

Excuses are like a rocking chair: they give you something to do, but don’t get you anywhere.

I have had plenty of excuses as to why I haven’t accomplished goals and dreams in my life. We all do, they line up like these rocking chairs.

Yet, the excuses which we cling to when we are unable to do what we desire are keeping us even further away from our potential future.

Excuses don’t get us anywhere.

They are lies we believe as to why we have failed to do something in our past. They are a negative narrative which we believe about ourselves, situations, or opportunities.

And ultimately they keep us busy, but never help us move forward.

It’s time to rewrite that story. It’s time to set the excuses aside and pick up the tools we need to live our lives the way we want to live them. And the more and more I start doing this in my own life the more I realize it starts small.
