My wife picked up this book at the suggestion of someone else who had read it. And of course, it was a must read for me as well. Not only because my wife read it. Because it is a book which can help us shape the lives of our children without the force of wills.

When I picked it up, I had heard of the original book by Mark Batterson, The Circle Maker, and have yet to get around to reading it. Though, I know I will now.

In this small book, Praying Circles around Your Children, we find tactical prayer methods to shape our children’s lives. These methods help us to connect with he creator of the universe and understand who God has made our children to be as well.

And I think, this is a book worth reading because it is short, well written, and meant for parents to build into their children through prayer (something which may not be a norm in our culture).
