Most people are dissatisfied with work, stressed out, and exhausted. We are asked to do more and do it with machine accuracy. And most of us want to get our work done so we can be with our family or chase our dreams.

This was me in November 2017. I was struggling with my work. I was falling further and further behind. My productivity was terrible and it was causing large amounts of stress for my life.

The stress was beginning to manifest in physical and emotional aspects for me. Constant headaches from tight muscles in my neck and back, nightmares about work, and panic attacks which I never had experienced before. It was getting worse and worse.

And then, one early morning in November. Awoken from a particular nightmare about an old lady chasing me around my office with a broom, I realized something had to change. At 3 am, I decided it was time to do something about how I did my work and would live my life.

A Desire to Change My Productivity

Something happened that morning, as I started to discover what it meant to be productive and to change habits in my workflow, I realized I didn’t understand the root of my problem.
