John 8: The Truth Will Set You Free
Truth = Freedom
“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Our culture today is floundering based on the idea that truth is relative. After spending 10 years in Portland, Oregon I have learned that many people simply want truth to be as they see the world. It is as if, there is no possibility for ultimate truth or even a simple truth.
In the last ten years even, we are seeing more and more people prescribe (whether they know it or not) to a relativistic view of the world and of their spiritual lives.
But what do we mean by relativism?
