“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and truth.” — John 4: 23–24 (NIV)

We have all been to churchs where there is no spirit to its worship. Singing out of hymnals and everyone looks like there are at a funeral.

The sermon is less than inspiring and doesn’t really challenge people to do anything. And most of all the people exchange small talk only before going on about their lives.

These quiet, dead churches are found all over America today. And most people are quite satisfied with the way these churches do things. And yet, these same people want more from their faith.

But nothing happens.

You see, worship is more than just a church service. Our entire lives are worship, but we don’t act like it. We act like these dead churches. Going through the motions and small talk.

What if we changed though?
