Jesus Brings Life
Mark 5:41–43
Holding her hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means “Little girl, get up!” And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed. Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell anyone what had happened, and then he told them to give her something to eat. — Mark 5:41–43

For my wife and I a few years ago, we were beginning to think that we would never have any more children. Our last was born a couple years after our first and since then all signs pointed that our two daughters were all there would be.
But we came to Jesus in prayer. Day after day we would come to him. I would worship in my personal times with the Lord knowing that he could bring the power to bring us another child.
We had doctors tell us we would never have anymore children. Friends and family even seemed to believe we had hit the spot where no more children were coming, but we believed Jesus could bring life.
And then, he did.
