During my lunch break at work, I tend to go over to our local Barnes and Nobel bookstore. They have a cafe where I can go to get free wifi to work on my writing and afterward I tend to walk through the rows of books in the store.

But my first stop is always the bargain books.

I love a good deal on everything, especially books. And if I am not careful, I can walk right out of the store with four or five more books that I won’t get to until the end of the year or maybe next year. But, I always check this section out.

Lately, I have been getting into reading the ninety-nine cent books on Amazon. Sometimes it is easy to glance over these books because they are so cheap. And so, we think they aren’t as good, or they are by less-known authors.

What I have learned are some of these books are intentionally cheap, but the information in them is extremely valuable.

I have read some of the most useful books on writing and creativity.

And I thought, I might mention that some books go on sale to ninety-nine cents for a limited time. And then go back up to the regular price. I am always on the lookout for the sale prices.
