What was the last thing God said to you?

Do you remember? If you are like me, you may not. If I don’t write down the things God tells me, I tend to forget them. Which is not good. God tells us things for a reason, if he communicates to us, we need to take it seriously.

My wife and I have a saying when it comes to decision making for our family:

What was the last thing God told us?

Being dreamers and doers, we like to have a dream and then act on it. Even before we have any kind of divine affirmation on our plan of action. Often enough we have to go back to God before we act.

  • What was the last thing God told us?
  • Does it line up with what we are dreaming or wanting to do?
  • Is it something that goes against these wants and desires?

You see, we believe God will speak and give insights to us on the things we want to do. Sometimes, we have already heard from him, but forgotten what he decreed for us in the beginning.
