Whether you are a brand new writer or someone who has been around for a while, you most likely want to become a better writer, which is good. The world does not need more mediocre writers. But how do we get better?

I wish there were a magical formula for you. But there isn’t. We will write for years before we feel better for many of us. The truth is, though, the more you write, the better you get.

But, it’s more than writing. There are things you can do to become a better writer. These different activities will help you on your writing journey and one day might be what it takes to help you self-publish a book.

I have put together a list of tips to help you right away to get started. Below my list, I break down each one of these tips to help you become a better writer and achieve the success you desire.
