“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.”

“They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit.”
-Jeremiah 17:7–8, NLT

Have you felt like you’ve been in long months of drought?

My guess is that you have felt this way for a time or two in life. Whether that has been very recently or sometime in your past, there have been times when life felt dry and exhausting.

Maybe you are going through this right now?

I know a lot of people have been experiencing some kind of season of a drought lately due to Covid-19, last year’s elections, or even simply from this recently cold snap here in the United States.

Feeling this way is not uncommon. In fact, we can know for certain that we will come upon seasons of drought in our lives. Yet, we must know how to weather these seasons so we can come out the other side as better people and help those around us.

So, how do we do it?

Make Your Hope and Confidence…
