It isn’t enough to simply be reading and learning about God’s Kingdom. We are built for so much more. One of these additional pieces to our spiritual life is being in a community.
If you have been around a church before, you will have heard that we cannot do our faith on our own. While I agree with this, there is something so essential to growing in your faith about community. And we see it in Acts 2:
“A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:42–47 (NLT)
When the early church was in community something amazing was happening. They saw miracles. And they were sharing everything they had for the good of each other. Because they loved each other. They shared meals together and their numbers grew.
I am inspired to encourage this kind of community with this publication. While we may live in different locations, I want to foster a community where we are a church together.
Here are a few things I would love to see be true of this community:
- Sharing of testimonies (miracles, people coming to faith, etc.)
- Sharing in prayer requests and praying for each other
- Connecting people to the church in their physical location
- Sharing what we are learning in our times reading the Bible
- And most of all, experiencing the fullness of our faith together

This is why I have decided to create a Facebook Group or this publication. I would love to see more people connecting no matter where you are in an effort to see the church grow and see people grow closer to God.
In the group, you will find prayer requests for each other, posts from the publication going up there, and testimonies to encourage and strengthen your faith.
