Heal The Land: Our World, Society, and Culture
A declaration for healing in our world today
On Sunday, I was listening to worship music with my wife and kids. We were singing right along and a pastor came on and told us that he felt there was a message to be shared about healing our land.
He asked us to pray and ask God for insight into what it would take to heal our land. As I prayed, I experienced what could only have been a ‘spiritual’ experience.
In this experience, I began to write, and these words came to me:
The only thing to heal our world
is a breakthrough from all foes of humanity.
The earth will be made right
in power and authority.
The breakthrough we need can only be
made true when God’s Kingdom comes
to earth as it is in heaven.
When fear leaves the world
and fear-mongering leaves humanity
We will see the pain, hurt, injustice, and racism will leave.
When these things go, there will be
a new world, a new culture, a new society,
and our land will truly be healed.
