And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” — Mark 16:15–18

There is more to experiencing Jesus than reading about him in the Bible. I used to think that Jesus was always going to be just out of reach in terms of real experience. The expression of him was merely as a character in a story.

And for many Christians, I think this is probably quite true for them. Often enough, Jesus only comes with church, the occasional bible study and the big holidays of Christmas and Easter.

Yet, I have found that experiencing Jesus is so much more.

When it comes to experiencing Jesus we can see him in our dreams, feel his presence as he enters a place, and see him cross your path on any given day. But there is even more to this, there are miracles, signs, and wonders to…
