Do We Really Understand Humble When It Comes To The Bible?

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been learning a ton about humility. First, it started with church and a series we are doing. Then, I came across several Bible verses on Instagram that talk about it. Lastly, as I continued working my way through the Gospel of Matthew, I found myself faced with humility again.
While reading through that portion of scripture, I realized something: Humility isn’t about us at all.
In fact, it is about something more, and the way our world defines humility isn’t the same as the way Jesus describes it in this particular passage of scripture.
