Confess And Be Forgiven
The power of coming before God
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9
God wants us to lay it all on the line. He wants us to come to him with our sin and confess it. Not only does he want us to do it, he promises he will forgive us of our sins. Why would we not want to come to him?
Prayer Prompt
Come to God right now and confess the sin that is on your heart. Maybe it is something that has been sticking with you for a while. Maybe not. Give it to Jesus and allow him to give you something in return.
This is part of a new series of posts I will be doing helping people spend time in prayer. My hope is that these breakthrough prayers will help take people into deeper walks with God, moving them from glory to glory.
