Christians Get Weird On Halloween

And then everyone else does too

I will be the first to say it: Christians don’t k ow what to do with Halloween.

Should we celebrate it?

Or, should we ignore it?

Maybe we need to protest it?

I know, we will throw a harvest festival!

It’s the same thing every year. Yet, no one has a definitive answer. Sure, Christians on both sides of the Halloween fence have scriptures for and against it, but that isn’t always helpful either.

What makes it worse is the impact it has on other people.

People who aren’t Christians start to feel uncomfortable, irritated, or even confused about it. This creates a myriad of issues for adults and kids alike.

There are plenty of people I know who grew up with Halloween being ‘from the devil’ who now have plenty of faith-based traumas because of this position too.

Which now carry over to their adulthood and their children. So, it complicated things even more. What the heck are Christians to do?
