Dear Jack,

You just turned 21. You had a really good time with your friends last night. But, you’re feeling the pain this morning. It’s okay, you’re going to feel it for the next couple of days. Guess what? That’s not going to leave you.

Well, I wanted to write you in the future. Yes, that’s right, I said the future. My name is J.R. No, we don’t go by that all the time, but it’s who I’ve we’ve grown into over the last few years.

We’re 36 now. Yes, that’s right, 15 years older than you are now. But, it’s been a good 15 years. Though, looking back, I thought I’d use our time machines to let you in on a few things I need you to do now.

Plus, I’ll leave something extra special at the end for you. DON’T SKIP AHEAD! IT won’t make sense until you read the rest. So, let’s get on with it, shall we.

Start thinking outside the box now.

Your degree and the job you think you are going to get after college don’t matter that much. In fact, it’s a lie. The entire thing. Go to college, get a degree, get a good job, and live happily ever after. It’s all bunk.
