5 Worship Songs That Will Speak To You
When you need God more than ever, worship Him.
I always thought it was crazy when Christians said that they worshipped in troubling times.
I remember the first time I heard this. A family who had moved to our little town always seemed a bit charismatic for our town. Yet, when the wife got brain cancer they would almost continually sing praise and worship music in light of her illness.
More recently, one of my favorite pastors shared about how he and his wife would sing worship to God while they hoped and prayed for healing in their daughter. Without flinching, he would tell anyone this is the first place to go.
All I could think in these instances was one simple question:
How could you worship God when you are facing sickness, hopelessness, and most likely be let down?
I didn’t understand. I’ve been a Christian for 16 years, but this one thing escaped me all the way up until the last two years.
