5 Things To Quit Right Now

Instead of starting things this year, why not quit some things

I’m not good at quitting things. If I am 100%, completely honest, I actually hate quitting things. Whether they are good or bad, I would much rather try and deal with all the things I am doing at the same time instead of quitting things.

Over the last few years, I have been someone who continually adds things to my plate. As I do this, I find myself failing to succeed at any of the things because I overwhelm myself with so many tasks and goals. This year, I am trying to do something different. I am trying to quit the things I don’t need to do so I can succeed at the things I really care about.

While I was reflecting on everything I had on my plate during the last week of 2020, I realized there were a lot of things I just needed to flat out quit.

Quitting Activities vs. Quitting Character Traits

While I tried quitting more activities last year, it turned out that it wasn’t activities that I was struggling with primarily. It was also character traits I had adopted on my own. These traits were holding me back and often they were contributing to all the activities I was adding to my life.
