2019: A Year of Success or Failure?

How did your year go?

Every year, I spend most of December reviewing how the year went. Was it a successful year or a failure. Early in life, I would describe a lot of years as failures.

But, I wasn’t good at honestly looking at my life clearly. Most often, I was looking at my life through the hopes, dreams, and priorities other people set for me.

Now, I look for successes and failures. And I look to see where I can grow and build. But it always starts with a few questions.

Looking back at 2019

Was this your best year yet? Or did it fall short of your expectations?

If I’m honest, it was a mixed bag.

Somethings went really well. I published my first book, launched my first product, and grew my email list. I succeed at my day job too.

But, I have some major opportunities with goals and plans I had for my personal health and fitness and my family's finances. And while I learned a lot this year, I didn’t grow as much in my faith.

Now, I could let this mix of good and bad get me down. In years past it would have done just that.

But this year, this year is different.
